Has the match been postponed? How to confirm a fixture change
What to look for in an announcement, and why a missing time does not confirm postponement.

A message saying a game has changed may refer to its kick-off time, its venue or a different competition involving the same clubs. Identify the fixture and find a current announcement from the organiser or clubs. Missing information in a calendar is not confirmation.
Identify the exact fixture
Check both teams, the competition, the team category and the original date. A club’s men, women and youth teams may have different schedules. A derby’s name alone does not identify which fixture has changed.
Read the publication date and the full announcement. A recirculated image may concern another round or another year. Find the original page rather than relying on a screenshot.
Look for the organiser’s confirmation
For Brazilian football, the CBF competition page brings together fixtures and documents, including the detailed schedule. Compare the available version with the change announcement. Official club channels may also provide instructions for supporters.
For a foreign league, look for its official fixtures or calendar changes section. Do not automatically apply one competition’s rules to another: the Premier League explains its own procedures and update channels.
Separate the date, time and venue
A change of kick-off time alone does not necessarily move the match to another day. Read which fields have changed and check the announcement’s time zone. If no new date has been announced, retain that uncertainty rather than filling in the gap.
Terms such as postponed, suspended and cancelled can have different consequences depending on the circumstances and rules. Keep the organiser’s terminology; do not infer a result, restart or new date without a published decision.
Why a calendar might still show the old date
Services using third-party data can update at different times. Bolanor’s calendar relies on OpenFootball and does not follow scheduling decisions live. A source retrieval timestamp does not prove it has incorporated the latest announcement.
If sources disagree, prioritise the current official announcement when planning, then check the calendar again later. Before travelling to the ground, confirm the hosting club’s instructions too; an editorial calendar cannot confirm that a match will go ahead.
