You find your team in a fixture list, then notice that another website puts the match on a different day. Before assuming it has moved, check the date used by the page, the time zone and the competition. A match round does not necessarily take place on a single day.

Start with the full date

“Today” changes at midnight in the calendar’s chosen time zone. Bolanor uses Brasília time, including in its other language versions. Check the day and month beside the heading: changing the language does not convert the calendar to the reader’s country.

Use Today, Tomorrow or the date picker to choose the day you want. If you are looking for an early-hours European fixture, check the preceding and following days too: converting time zones can change the Brazilian date.

A match round is not a calendar day

A round groups together one stage of a league; the date tells you when an individual fixture is scheduled. Matches in the same round may be spread across several days. A rearranged fixture may take place after games from later rounds.

Filter by competition and confirm both clubs. Open the fixture to check the league and the available date. The team page helps when you remember the club but do not yet know its opponent.

A missing kick-off time does not mean cancellation

“TBC” means the source used by the page has not supplied a time. It confirms neither cancellation nor postponement. Do not assume a 4pm or 9.30pm kick-off just because that slot is common in a competition.

Check the detailed fixture schedule and announcements from the organiser or clubs. The Premier League’s official guidance, for example, explains that broadcasting and calendar clashes can change a date, a kick-off time or both.

Check again shortly before the match

Before setting aside time to watch, review the date, time zone and rights holder’s schedule for Brazil. A pre-match programme can start before kick-off. An old social media announcement is not a substitute for the current programme.

Bolanor’s calendar covers four leagues and relies on open data that may arrive late. An empty day or a missing fixture does not prove there is no football. Use the calendar as a starting point and the official source to confirm changes.
